Johnson and Johnson’s Campaign for Nursing’s Future website and efforts have done more than any other organization to increase awareness and recruitment into the field of nursing.

A recent YouTube video highlighting pediatric nurses is tremendously moving.

In the month since it was posted on YouTube, the video has received nearly 500,000 views, hundreds of votes, of which not a single one is a “dislike.” click here

Begun in 2002, when nursing faced shortages, Johnson & Johnson’s “Discover Nursing” campaign has so far committed $50 million to boost recruitment and improve nursing’s image which included commercials broadcast during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.

The campaign website,, has received 2.5 million unique visitors and 47,000 subscriptions to its “Nursing Notes” newsletter.

We owe a debt of gratitude to Johnson and Johnson.
